Looking for some beer

Kind of an odd question. I know some folks from the Dallas area read this blog. I was looking for a place that sells a particular brand of beer. That brand is Iron City Light Beer.

It’s a local beer brewed in Pittsburgh. My wife is from there, and when we first got married, we used to get it over at a place called Mr. G’s in Plano. They stopped selling it because not many people bought it, or so they said. Not long after, they really expanded their wine selection, and carried less beer. They also didn’t charge any extra for it than they would for any other brand, which was nice.

Problem is I can’t find it now – so I was hoping someone in the Dallas area reading this knows where I can dig up some Iron City Light beer. And not have to pay a friggen arm and a leg for it, either.

Honestly, I don’t think that they can legally sell that beer in Texas from looking at their web site.

You might try Pogo’s in Inwood Village. They always seem to have a good mix of libations.

    Hey Joe,
Were you able to locate a place here in Dallas that sells Iron City?
I’m actually from Pittsburgh and would like to get my hands on some IC.
    Thanks,

The hell with Iron City. You have one of the best beers around your neighborhood, Falstaff. Drink, and be merry. As a matter of fact, put a load on, and go in town to a strip joint, and raise some hell.
