Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a big baseball fan. I also (almost blindly) support my baseball team. I was as shocked as most people when Arod came here to Texas a few years ago. However, with the current bruhaha (sp?) regarding Arod being traded to the Red Sox…

If you don’t want to be on my team, then I don’t want you. He might very well be the greatest player to ever play the game. But if you don’t want to be here, then don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. I’m kind of surprised I’m saying that, but if he doesn’t want to be here, he doesn’t really deserve this fan’s loyalty, does he?
I’ll probably stilll like him, but it’ll leave a bad taste in my mouth for awhile. Makes me feel like he’ll get booed here the first time he comes back like he did in Seattle when he returned there his first year with Texas.
I really feel he’s played his last as a Ranger. I really wanted him to be here to retire a Ranger, too. I wonder if we’ll retire his number when he eventually makes the HOF.
