Notes

  • There is a prequel to this episode which shows President Nixon receiving one of the phone calls from the little girl – a plot point expanded on in the episode.
  • The older version of Canton Everett Delaware III is played by W Morgan Shepherd.  He was in several Star Trek things too.  He was Ira Graves in the TNG episode “The Schizoid Man”, Qatai In Voyager’s “Bliss“, the Klingon commander of Rura Penthe in Star Trek VI, and an unnamed Vulcan minister in Star Trek (2009).
  • Amusingly, the younger version of this character was played by Mark Shepherd, the real life son of W Morgan Shepherd.
