Notes
- There is a remastered version of this episode, but I will be using the original version.
- Holly’s “Additional”: Our biggest enemy is going space crazy through loneliness. The only thing that helps me maintain my slender grip on reality is the friendship I share with my collection of singing potatoes.
- Queeg is played by Charles Augins, who is a professional choreographer. He did the choreography for the following episode, “Parallel Universe” as well as some dance routines in later series, too.

This is my fav ep of the original 12. That's mostly because it's a Holly centric episode are there aren't too many of those. But the writing is brilliant. Holly plays a practical joke on the crew making himself seem seemingly pic.twitter.com/wpDJFaFzVe

incompetent. He is "replaced" by the backup computer - Queeg, who busts their stones big time. Rimmer impersonating the rest of the crew is a riot. THE most quotable episode of the series. "April, May, June, July, & August Fool". pic.twitter.com/UzjJmKKJNL
