- This is the second of five appearances of the Klingon character, Kor. The first one was the original series episode “Errand of Mercy”, and the subsequent episodes are all Deep Space Nine episodes.
- The only appearance of Kor not voiced by John Colicos – it was Jimmy Doohan here.
- The final appearance of Klingons in Star Trek as the smooth headed versions (barring flashbacks and cameos). The next time they appeared (Star Trek: The Motion Picture), they had the bumpy foreheads they’ve had ever since.

This one can be called "The Bermuda Triangle in Space". Kirk's Enterprise (along with Kor's ship) are trapped, and have to work together to escape from the area. It's a simple concept, but one that I thought was pic.twitter.com/N8FaRJ0lZ2

well executed. Loved the council of races, many of which are TAS specific. I would have preferred John Colicos return to voice Kor - he didn't here (it's Doohan). Still, was nice to see a recurring character. pic.twitter.com/ww4QVjtlYQ
