What Ships are For

This Story: Episode 9
Trek Overall: Not canon, so no official count.
Airdate: 30 Jul 2017
Teleplay by Kipleigh Brown
Story by Vic Mognogna, James Kerwin, & Kipleigh Brown
Directed Vic Mignogna

Notes

  • This episode has John Delancie guest star, but it has nothing to do with his most famous Star Trek role (Q).
  • It also has Anne Lockhart as a guest star from the original Battlestar Galactica series in the 70’s.
  • There’s some future speculation showing what would become the uniforms worn in the first movie.

This ep is partially in black & white due to the society the Enterprise is visiting having no color due to its radiation damaging their eyes. Once again we get a story of trying to help a pic.twitter.com/locwfUTUsd

society embrace hated adversaries while helping them from a disease that's killing them. There's also a Kirk & the girl angle. DeLancie gives a great performance here. Another great story. pic.twitter.com/I6DD9SjIiK
