Notes

  • The third episode directed by Patrick Stewart.
  • Robert Hewitt Wolfe’s first episode of Star Trek – he went on to write 37 episodes of Deep Space Nine.
  • Second episode in a row with Worf’s son Alexander in it.
  • The plot is similar to the Red Dwarf episode “Gunmen of the Apocalypse” – a remark that even Patrick Stewart mentioned.
  • Picard’s flute from “The Inner Light” makes an appearance here as well as a tapestry from “Who Watches the Watchers“.
  • Reg Barkley gets a shout out, but does not appear.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 133 - A Fistful of Datas - 9 Nov 1992 2/2 mostly a comedy, which is fine, as it's fun. This was directed by Patrick Stewart, and resembles a bit of the plot from Red Dwarf's "Gunmen of the Apocalypse". So much fun watching Spiner ham it up and Worf getting laughs.
