- The third appearance of Reg Barclay as played by A Team star Dwight Schultz.
- Footage of Barclay getting a glass of water is reused footage from “The Vengeance Factor” – it’s an odd thing to re-use footage for.
- The first time we see what it’s like for the person in the transporter to be transported. The only other time this is seen is in the Voyager episode “Prototype“.

Kind of reminds me of the old Shatner Twilight Zone in that way.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 128 - Realm of Fear - 28 Sep 1992 2/2 This focuses on the transporter, a cool choice for a story. I kind of wish this was made in TOS era, as I would have LOVED McCoy to be the one with the fear of transporters. Loved the POV of the person being transported.
