Notes

• Michelle Forbes returns as Ro Laren – the first time she’d appeared in that role since the penultimate episode of TNG, “Preemptive Strike” (16 May 1994, nearly 29 years prior).  That episode (and her first) were discussed in this episode.
• Shaw mentions events of the movies Generations and Insurrection, & the series finale “All Good Things…“.
• This episode contradicts DS9 canon regarding the death of a Changeling. This episode states they turn to liquid, but we saw them turn to ash in DS9.
• The last episode the main ship from the first two series (“La Sirenna”) is seen.
• In one of Jack’s dreams, we hear a transporter sound effect that sounds identical to the one used in the original series.
