Notes
- There is a reference to real life pregnancy of Nana Visitor here – when she blames Julian for her pregnancy. Given that Alexander Siddig was the father of her child, it was felt it would be funny to mention that in the show somehow.
- The last episode of Deep Space Nine directed by James L. Conway. He had directed seven episodes of DS9 total. Additionally he also directed 3 episodes of TNG, 4 of Voyager, and 4 of Enterprise.
- There is a reference to Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country here. In the Hall of Warriors, one of the statutes is General Chang, but it is not clearly seen on screen.
- The second time Rene Auberjonois wore Klingon makeup, although the other time was a deleted scene in Star Trek VI.
- This episode was nominated for Emmy Awards for Outstanding Cinematography for a Series and Outstanding Makeup for a Series.
