  • Laas is played by J.G. Hertzler, the same actor who plays Martok – in the same episode. However, for Laas he’s billed as Garman Hertzler.  His real full name is John Garman Hertzler.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 164 - Chimera - 15 Feb 1999 2/2 his ultimate decision in the series finale about his people. Said changeling (Laas) is played by the same actor who plays Martok on DS9. Overall there's good character work for Odo here. A small, but important episode.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 164 - Chimera - 15 Feb 1999 3/2 One minor extra. This shot of Odo/Kira gave me a flashback to the movie Independence Day. Specifically the shot of Will Smith & Jeff Goldblum where Smith says "Can you really do all that bullshit you said back there?" 🤣
