Notes
- Pitt the Younger (from the first episode of the series) is mentioned again here, but not seen.
- The writer Ben Elton appears in the episode as an anarchist at the start of the episode that throws a bomb at the Prince.
- Baldrick shows a rare moment of standing up to Black Adder by saying “Goodbye, you lazy, big nosed, rubber faced bastard”.
- The routine that had to be performed whenever Black Adder said “Macbeth” was apparently something made up by the two actors in question – Hugh Paddick (Keanrick) and Kenneth Connor (Mosop).
