Notes
- The second of a ten episode arc that closes out the Dominion War and Deep Space Nine as a series. As far as I know it’s not intended to be a single story with ten parts to it, but it is very tightly wound together (ala Babylon 5), so watching these out of order would be near impossible. On original broadcast, they were advertised as “The Final Chapter“.
 - The speech during Sisko’s wedding was deliberately based on Picard’s speech at the wedding of O’Brien & Keiko in “Data’s Day“, which itself was based off Kirk’s speech in “Balance of Terror“.
 - Worf claims that no one has seen what’s under a Breen costume and lived, but this contradicts the episode “Indiscretion” with Kira & Dukat wearing Breen helmets. It’s probably more likely the idea of “don’t know what’s under there” wasn’t thought of yet in that earlier appearance.
 - Ben Sisko & Cassidy Yates get married in this episode.
 - This is the fourth of five appearances by Deborah Lacey in the role of Sisko’s mother.
