Notes
- Grant as a character existed for the possibility of replacing Blake on the cast as they got word that Gareth Thomas was leaving the show at the end of the series by now.
- The escape rocket here was the same was the Guardian spacecraft from “Time Squad“.
- Neither Zen nor Orac are in this episode, and by extension neither is Peter Tuddenham.
- Anna Grant’s fate is touched on again in the Series C episode “Rumours of Death“.
- Del Grant was played by Tom Chadbon. He was in a couple of Doctor Who stories. First, the 1979 serial “City of Death” (as Duggan). Secondly he was in the “Mysterious Planet” segment of 1986’s “Trial of a Time Lord” as Merdeen. He also played an accountant in the most excellent James Bond film – “Casino Royale” (2006).

#B7Marathon #Blakes7 Blake's 7 Ep 22 - "Countdown" - 6 Mar 1979 2/2 comes to help. In working to fix it, we run into an old acquaintance of Avon's - Del Grant. Most of this is just Blake standing around - the focus seems to be elsewhere for this one. We also get the first mention of Star One.
