Notes

  • The last time that the character of Olag Gan is ever mentioned on the show.
  • Thania here is one of only two female Federation officers we ever see besides Servalan.  The other is Arlen in the finale, “Blake“.
  • John Savident plays Samor here.  He also appeared as the King in the original Black Adder pilot and in Doctor Who’s “The Visitation” as Squire John.  Savident would later appear in Blake’s 7 as Agrarian in the Series D episode “Orbit“.
  • The characters of Rontaine & Beryl had already appeared in Season A’s “Seek-Locate-Destroy“.
  • Secretary Rontane is played by Peter Miles.  He’s more well known in this genre for being Nyder in the Doctor Who story “Genesis of the Daleks“.

#B7Marathon #Blakes7 Blake's 7 Ep 19 - "Trial" - 13 Feb 1979 2/2 Blake story has a part where the planet he chose for his vacation was a living being (meh), but I did like the character moments. I did like where the show put Travis after the trial (a freelancer). Enjoying Travis 2 more this time.
