Notes
- Running torpedo fired count: 1
- It is said here they have 38 photon torpedoes on the ship with no way to replace them. Going to keep track of the torpedoes fired during the series, and see if that links up. It probably doesn’t with all the Borg stories there are later on.
- The first of twenty eight episodes of Voyager directed by David Livingston. He also directed 2 of TNG, 17 of DS9, & 15 of Enterprise.
- Via a voice over (capt’s log), it’s said that several weeks have passed since the last episode, and that the crew has become “an extended family” – goodbye Maquis conflict.
- Neelix appoints himself “morale officer” in this episode.
- The first mention of Louis Zimmerman, the guy who actually programmed the EMH at Starfleet. We will see him a few times later on in the series.

The main thrust of this ep is characters, and how they interact with each other. There's some background character dev for multiple people here. Love Neelix calling

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 6 - The Cloud - 13 Feb 1995 2/2 out the crew as stupid for always going right into danger. The first of Tom Paris' many holodeck programs debuts here. The first dive into Chokotay's Native American background. A low stakes ep, but good character stuff.
