Time and Again

This Story: Season 1 Episode 4 (production code 104)
VOY Overall: Episode 4
Trek Overall: Story 435, Episode 460
Airdate: 30 Jan 1995
Story by David Kemper
Teleplay by David Kemper & Michael Piller
Directed by Les Landau

Notes

  • Two episodes in a row with an alternate reality.
  • The first mention of “the Delaney sisters”, who are eventually seen in Episode 9 of Season 5.
  • The first time we got an idea of Kes’ mental powers.
  • Tarik Ergin played Ayala here.  He played quite a few characters over multiple Star Trek series, but one that amuses me the most is he was the guy inside “Satan’s Robot” from three Voyager episodes including “The Bride of Chaotica“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 4 - Time and Again - 30 Jan 1995 1/2 Two eps in a row with an "alternate reality" theme - an early trend. This one shows a bit of what Kes' mental powers are about. It also has a feel of a standard "explore a planet" feel that you'd get in a Trek ep with all

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 4 - Time and Again - 30 Jan 1995 2/2 the usual Federation trappings. Janeway & Tom spent most of their time trapped in a subspace fracture. Found the attempts by Voyager to rescue them more interesting, although Janeway's John McLain stuff at the end was good.

My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
