VOY Overall: Episode 48
Trek Overall: Story 478, Episode 504
Airdate: 9 Oct 1996
Story by Lisa Klink

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 17 / Confirmed crew deaths since pilot: 11 (crew of 143).
  • This story was originally conceived for TNG, and as a Troi episode.
  • Dathan Alaris was played by Chip Esten (billed as Charles Esten).  He also was a a Klingon named Divok in the TNG episode “Rightful Heir“.  I know him well from his appearances on the show “Whose Line is it Anyway?“.
  • Eve Brenner plays Mirell here.  She was also Inad in the TNG episode “Violations“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 48 - Remember - 9 Oct 1996 1/2 Before watching, all I could remember is it has Chip Esten from Whose Line is it Anyway in it. :) B'Elanna is having some sex dreams that are making her late for work - they involved someone from a visiting race aboard the ship.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 48 - Remember - 9 Oct 1996 2/2 Other than showing B'Elanna likes sex, I was a bit unclear what the point was. Even once the real issue came up, I just didn't care, because we've done "visiting race causes mental distress to crewmember" in Trek before. Next.

Chip Esten on Voyager.
Chip Esten & Wayne Brady from Whose Line.
My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
