Course: Oblivion

This Story: Season 5 Episode 18 (production code 213)
VOY Overall: Episode 112
Trek Overall: Story 537, Episode 568
Airdate: 3 Mar 1999
Story by Bryan Fuller
Teleplay by Bryan Fuller & Nick Sagan
Directed by Anson Williams

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 49.  This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
  • This is a direct sequel to the episode “Demon” from last season.
  • This episode was directed by Anson Williams, more popularly known as Potsie Weber on Happy Days. Williams also directed the episode Demon.  This would also be the final episode of Star Trek directed by Williams.  In total, he directed six (two DS9 and four Voyager).
  • This episode shows the copies of Torres & Paris getting married. The real versions of the characters would get married in the episode “Drive” from the final season.
  • This episode shows both Voyager (fourth of five) being destroyed and Janeway dying (seventh of nine).
  • Voyager’s “Low Power Mode” (grey mode) gets a mention here.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 112 - Course: Oblivion - 3 Mar 1999 1/2 One of my favs. A sequel to last year's "Demon" with the copies of the Voyager crew left behind on the Demon planet. They've left the planet on a copy of Voyager. Problem is they're breaking down; a slow death of both

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 112 - Course: Oblivion - 3 Mar 1999 2/2 them & the ship. By the time they figure it out, they're all near death or already dead. I won't spoil the ending in case you haven't seen it, but one of the more memorable ones. Top notch ep with some great moments.

My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
