This Story: Season 6 Episode 11 (production code 231)
VOY Overall: Episode 131
Trek Overall: Story 555, Episode 587
Airdate: 12 Jan 2000
Written by Robin Burger
Directed by Allan Kroeker

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 61.  This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
  • The first episode of Star Trek to air in the 2000’s.
  • This episode’s working title was “Safe Harbor”.
  • At the end of the episode, it is said that Tom Paris would need six or seven weeks to rewrite the program.  A sequel to this episode (“Spirit Folk“) aired six weeks later.  :)
  • This episode was filmed on the same set that some exterior shots were in the episode “The Killing Game“.
  • Richard Riehle plays Seamus here.  He revived the character in “Spirit Folk“.  He was also Jeremy Lucas in the Enterprise episodes “Cold Station 12” & “The Augments“.  He was also Batai in the excellent TNG episode “The Inner Light“.

A great smile by Kate Mulgrew here, but not one I could get without the credit on screen.
My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
