Trek Overall: Story 575, Episode 608

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 67.  This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
  • Features the next appearances of Dwight Schultz & Marina Sirtis (as Barclay & Troi) in the “Pathfinder” storyline.  It is the final appearance of Marina Sirtis in the series, although Schultz would appear two more times.
  • The events of the episodes “Bliss” and “Hope and Fear” are recalled here.
  • For the first time in awhile a Ferengi Rule of Acquisition is referenced – #74: “Knowledge equals profit”.
  • The dress worn by Leosa here was also work in DS9’s “Second Sight” (by Fenna).
  • The fourth (of six) appearances of Owen Paris as played by Richard Herd.
  • The Ferengi Gegis was played by Frank Corsentino.  He’s played two other Ferengi elsewhere – Bok in TNG’s “The Battle” and Tog in TNG’s “Menage a Troi“.
  • The multiphasic shields from the TNG episode “Suspicions” are used here.  The original inventor of them was Ferengi.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 152 - Inside Man - 8 Nov 2000 1/2 The latest in the Barclay/Pathfinder story. This time Reg sends a hologram of himself to Voyager to interact with them. However, before it arrived, Ferengi in the Alpha Quadrant meddle with the signal for their own devices.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 152 - Inside Man - 8 Nov 2000 2/2 Eventually real Reg figures that out before HoloReg can cause too much trouble. A fun ep that also brings back a Troi cameo (for the last time). I loved these Reg/Voyager eps, kinda wish he as a regular on the series tbh.
