Memorial

This Story: Season 6 Episode 14 (production code 236)
VOY Overall: Episode 134
Trek Overall: Story 558, Episode 590
Airdate: 2 Feb 2000
Story by Brannon Braga
Teleplay by Robin Burger
Directed by Allan Kroeker

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 61.  This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
  • The first time we see hockey in any episode of Star Trek.
  • The plot of this episode is similar to the Voyager episode “Remember“, although in that one it was just one person with memories – this time it’s multiple.
  • There are loose references to the events of “The Killing Game” & “Nemesis” here.
  • Given the episode ends with people retaining memories of what affected them so strongly here, it’s never mentioned again. One of the reasons I disagreed with Janeway’s choice.  There were no real “memories” retained beyond this episode, so you might as well have wiped out the memorial device.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 134 - Memorial - 2 Feb 2000 2/2 some war they were not a part of in reality. Didn't care for this. But, I did enjoy the actors acting outside their little character boxes. Not a fan of Janeway's choice here in same way I didn't like the choice in the pilot.

My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
