Notes
- Running Decon Gel Scene Appearances: Trip (1), T’Pol (1) – none this episode.
- The only episode of Enterprise to be directed by Terry Windell. He also directed ten episodes of Star Trek: Voyager.
- The first episode of a rather deep friendship between Trip & T’Pol which expands far beyond friendship as the series goes on.
- This episode was nominated for an Emmy Award for “Visual Effects for a Series” (but lost to the Enterprise pilot).
- The first time we ever see a Vulcan High Command ship in all of Star Trek.
- The Vulcan Koss is mentioned here, and seen in later episodes. He was an arranged marriage to T’Pol.
- I believe this is the first time we see the inside of T’Pol’s quarters.
- The scene where the crew answers kids questions felt like it was covering for space in an episode that runs too short. It’s a cute scene, but really feels odd.
