Notes

  • Running Decon Gel Scene Appearances: T’Pol (2), Trip (1), Hoshi (1), Malcolm (1). None this episode.
  • The only time we see the night gear for the Enterprise crew.
  • The humanoid wraith was played by Stephanie Niznik.  She was also Perim in Star Trek: Insurrection.
  • Burzan was played by Connor O’Farrell.  He was also “Jeff” in DS9’s “Little Green Men”, and he will be D’Jamat in the episode “Chosen Realm“.
  • Damrus was played by Keith Szarabajka.  He was also Anaydis in Voyager’s “Repression“.
  • Shiraht was played by Eric Pieroiint.  He was also Voval in TNG’s “Liaisons“, Sanders in DS9’s “For the Uniform“, the Klingon Mortar in Voyager’s “Barge of the Dead“.  he will also play the Section 31 operative ‘Harris’ in four Enterprise episodes – “Affliction“, “Divergence“, “Demons“, & “Terra Prime“.
  • It’s probably just me reading into it, but the green night vision things on the crew’s eyes reminded me of the maw of the planet killer from “The Doomsday Machine” (just green).
  • One of the animals they’re hunting on this planet looks a lot like the CGI Targ from a few episodes ago in “Sleeping Dogs“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 18 - Rogue Planet - 20 Mar 2002 1/2 Enterprise investigates a planet with no sun. As such it's a fairly dark ep visually. They encounter others who use the planet as a hunting ground. Our crew work with them, and honestly it took me over half the ep

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 18 - Rogue Planet - 20 Mar 2002 2/2 to find the plot. I like "exploration" eps, but this just seemed to meander aimlessly. Once we get to it, I just didn't care (Archer thinks he found this woman who's an alien shapeshifter)? This did nothing for me.
