only 15 days. The clone ("Sim") would have tissue harvested to save (actual) Trip. Obviously he's saved as the character doesn't die (here), but a lot of time is spent on Trip, his memories, moral quandaries, etc. Excellent script by Manny Coto who I wish had started on Enterprise sooner than this.
