Notes
- The second of the three part Arik Soong arc. They’re technically not a three part story, but are fairly strongly tied together.
- Dr Lucas is shown here. He had been mentioned a few times in the past as a collegue/friend of Phlox.
- Lucas is played by Richard Riele. He was also Batai in TNG’s “The Inner Light” and Seamus in the Voyager Episodes “Fair Haven” and “Spirit Folk“. He will also play Lucas again in the next episode.
- I think it’s the only time we see Phlox firing a phaser? Not 100% sure about that.
- The central control panel in the main room on the station had a Tardis console kind of feel to it.

Excellent ep. This one focuses most on Spiner's Soong and his parental relationship with them. They go to a medical research station

and set out to recover augment embryos. While at the station though they torture the staff (somewhat horrifically at times) to get what they want - kinda of like Khan at Regula One. It's not officially a two parter with the next ep, but it certainly ends on a cliffhanger. Enjoyed Spiner again.
