It’s been renewed. Thank god.
I don’t want to merit the value of the various Star Trek series. I have loved all of them (even the Animated series). I like Enterprise. I loved DS9 (my favorite Trek series).
I know others don’t. Fine. I don’t care – I love them, and I like watching them. I generally hate reading Star Trek threads online because I think DS9 was the best Trek series – period. And when I see people post that they don’t, all I want to say is “What the ****** is your problem? – which won’t do anything good, so I don’t go into why. Bottom line is I like Star Trek.
I would however be happier than anyone if the rumour I read that Paramount was considering replacing Rick Berman & Brannon Braga (heads of Star Trek) with Joe Strazynski (Babylon 5 guy) as the head of Star Trek. Oh man, that would rule. It’s probably nothing more than a fanboy’s dream, but I like it. :)
