- Billed as a direct sequel to the Series 3 episode “Polymorph“, it doesn’t really follow up on the cliffhanger left at the end of that episode.
- Features the return of “Ace Rimmer” & “Dwayne Dibbley”, but it’s the prime characters here who get altered to be them vs the “alternate reality” versions of those characters that came before.
- The events of this episode are referenced in the Series 7 episode “Ouroboros“, where they refer to Lister’s gelf bride.
