Emohawk: Polymorph II

This Story: Season 6, Episode 4
Overall: Story 34, Episode 34
Airdate: 28 Oct 1993
Written by Rob Grant & Doug Naylor
Directed by Andy De Emmony

Notes

  • Billed as a direct sequel to the Series 3 episode “Polymorph“, it doesn’t really follow up on the cliffhanger left at the end of that episode.
  • Features the return of “Ace Rimmer” & “Dwayne Dibbley”, but it’s the prime characters here who get altered to be them vs the “alternate reality” versions of those characters that came before.
  • The events of this episode are referenced in the Series 7 episode “Ouroboros“, where they refer to Lister’s gelf bride.

#RedDwarfMarathon Ep 34 - Emohawk: Polymorph II - 28 Oct 1993 1/2 Billed as a sequel to the S3 ep "Polymorph", it has little to do with that ep and doesn't pick up on the cliffhanger left over there. This was just basically an excuse to see Ace Rimmer & Dwayne Dibbley again.

#RedDwarfMarathon Ep 34 - Emohawk: Polymorph II - 28 Oct 1993 2/2 That was of course fun, but all the stuff with the gelfs and Lister getting married to one was all boring. It's a very mixed bag for me because of that. Ace & Dwayne together was a fun combo. #TripleThickCondom
