TNG Overall: Episode 174
Trek Overall: Story 266, Episode 276
Airdate: 2 May 1994

Directed by Les Landau

Notes

  • The second and final episode of the show written by Nick Sagan, the real life son of astronomer Carl Sagan.
  • The first time we’ve seen Daimon Bok since the Season 1 episode “The Battle“, although the actor playing him was different then.
  • Security officer Garvey is a direct reference the baseball player Steve Garvey.
  • The actor who plays Bok here also played Gral on the DS9 episode “The Nagus”, and later played a Tellerite ambassador named Gral in several episodes of “Star Trek: Enterprise”.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 174 - Bloodlines - 2 May 1994 2/2 w/ a son he didn't know he had (not really his). That's pretty much the story - a Ferengi revenge plot. A pretty cheaply made ep - no extra sets, very little extra cast. It's an OK episode. Not great - not bad. Lots of talking.
