Having said that, the story wasn't bad, just felt like it was misplaced as we get to the end.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 174 - Emergence - 9 May 1994 2/2 It's a holodeck malfunction story but one that manifests itself as the Enterprise computer becoming self aware (hence the title). It's a bit of an odd one. The being ends up leaving the ship, and we get a speech about "new life".
