Trek Overall: Story 418, Episode 442

Notes
- While not a direct sequel, it does strongly follow up on events of the episode “Honor Among Thieves“.
- Another DS9 title/story that’s connected to a bible passage, this one Luke 15:11-32.
- Quark & Worf do not appear in this episode.
- The living room of the Tigan house was a re-use of Vic’s lounge.
- The drill that O’Brien repairs is the same prop used as Quark’s latinum vault in “Who Mourns for Morn?“
- Pergium is an element to be mined for in this story. It’s not the first time, as it was what the miners were looking for in the TOS episode “The Devil in the Dark“. It is pronounced differently in each episode, however.
- Yanas Tigan (ezri’s mother) is played by Leigh Taylor Young who I know very well from her years on “Dallas” as Kimberly Cryder. She also appeared on Spencer for Hire with Avery Brooks.
- It is established that there are multiple varieties of the Klingon food Gagh, although the total number was not disclosed.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 161 - Prodigal Daughter - 4 Jan 1999 2/2 personality. Bashir seems oddly moody. My memory had this as a good ep, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I remembered. A lot of the drama was around Ezri's family, not her. I did Nicole DeBoer in this ep tho.
