Black Adder Overall: Episode 17
Airdate: 15 Oct 1987
Written by Ben Elton & Richard Curtis

Notes

  • Amy is played by Miranda Richardson, who was a series regular in Series II as “Queenie”.  She would return for one episode in Series IV as well (“General Hospital“) as well as the Christmas Carol & Back and Forth specials (both as variants of Queenie).
  • In real life, Prince George did marry Caroline of Brunswick – she’s referenced here briefly (but not shown).
  • Mrs. Miggins is shown to be in love with Blackadder – something that only is ever referenced here.
  • The working title of this episode was “Cape and Capability”
