Coda

This Story: Season 3 Episode 15 (production code 158)
VOY Overall: Episode 57
Trek Overall: Story 486, Episode 513
Airdate: 29 Jan 1997
Written by Jeri Taylor
Directed by Nancy Malone

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 18 / Confirmed crew deaths since pilot: 12 (crew of 142).
  • Working title for this episode was “Fractals”.
  • A special effect from the TNG finale was re-used here (the anomaly).
  • The first of the two appearances of the Vidiians after they formally departed the show was here.  It was not a “real” appearance, was in a fantasy, as is the other one that comes after this.
  • The events of the episode Cathexis are recalled here.
  • This episode sets up a sequel that I don’t believe ever happened.  If I’m wrong, I’ll come back here and edit this later.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 57 - Coda - 22 Jan 1997 2/2 I love a good time loop. The most intense part of this was when the Doctor euthanizes Janeway against her will. We also get two Janeways, she sees her own memorial service. Good stuff here - I had forgotten the (sad) path this had.
