This Story: Season 4 Episode 6 (production code 174)
VOY Overall: Episode 74
Trek Overall: Story 502, Episode 530
Airdate: 8 Oct 1997
Story by Bryan Fuller & Harry Kloor
Teleplay by Bryan Fuller
Directed by LeVar Burton

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 23 / Confirmed crew deaths since pilot: 13 (crew of 141).
  • A working title for this episode was “Resurrection”.
  • The Borg designation for the Talaxian race is “Species 218”.
  • The Borg designation for the Vulcan race is “Species 3259”.
  • Apparently, the Borg sets here are re-used from “Scorpion“.
  • The second (of four times) that we see Seven’s human parents (Magnus & Erin Hansen, named later).
  • Seven’s human parents meeting the Borg seem to contradict the events of the TNG episode “Q Who” which says it was Q that introduced the Borg to humans.
  • The third (of eight) episodes of Voyager directed by LeVar Burton.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 74 - The Raven - 8 Oct 1997 2/2 includes eating food (which is a fun scene with Neelix). She tries to return to the Borg and has flashbacks about her life before being assimilated. The second half of this episode was awesome. Loved seeing Jeri act like a kid.
