Unforgettable

This Story: Season 4 Episode 22 (production code 190)
VOY Overall: Episode 90
Trek Overall: Story 515, Episode 545
Airdate: 22 Apr 1998
Written by Greg Elliot & Michael Perricone
Directed by Andrew J. Robinson

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 23 / Confirmed crew deaths since pilot: 15 (crew of 146 (my count says 138)).
  • A working title of this episode was “Proximity”.
  • The first episode of the series that B’Elanna does not appear – but that’s because Roxann Dawson was away on maternity leave, having gone into labor during the production of the prior episode.
  • This episode was directed by Andrew Robinson, more known for playing Garak on DS9.  It is also his third and final episode he directed.  He did one other Voyager and one episode of DS9 as well.
  • Kellin is played by Virginia Madsen, and is the real life sister of actor Michael Madsen.
  • Curneth was played by Michael Canavan.  He was also Tamal in DS9’s “Defiant“, and an unnamed Vulcan in the Enterprise episode “First Flight“.
  • Had no room in my commentary for this, so I wanted to add it here.  The short scene between Harry and Seven when Harry was trying to define the purpose of courtship was hilarious.  Funny stuff.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 90 - Unforgettable - 22 Apr 1998 1/2 This one is a love story for Chakotay. From what I can gather they did this because they had formally decided not to go with Janeway/Chakotay. The catch here is this woman's race has memory of them disappear shortly after

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 90 - Unforgettable - 22 Apr 1998 2/2 meeting them - similar to The Silence from Doctor Who. Very good chemistry between Beltran & Virginia Madsen, but I would have liked an ongoing thing for him. Enjoyed this more than I remembered - good emotional story.

My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
