Virtuoso

This Story: Season 6 Episode 13 (production code 234)
VOY Overall: Episode 133
Trek Overall: Story 557, Episode 589
Airdate: 26 Jan 2000
Story by Raf Green
Teleplay by Raf Green & Kenneth Biller
Directed by Les Landau

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 61.  This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
  • The Komar city landscape is the same as one used in “Year of Hell“.
  • The episode “Cathexis” had Tuvok being taken over by a race called the Komar – but it is not known if this is supposed to be the same.
  • Robert Picardo sung everything in this episode except one scene – the final performance on the Komar planet.
  • The Komar leader named Koru was played by Paul Williams. This is his only appearance in Star Trek – but I know him SUPER WELL as “Little Enos” from the three Smokey & The Bandit films.
  • Rico Bueno plays a background character here – a Qomar spectator.  He had other unspeaking background character roles as an officer on the Enterprise-E in Insurrection, a Bellerophon officer in DS9’s “Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges“, and a Meridian on DS9’s “Meridian“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 133 - Virtuoso - 26 Jan 2000 2/2 the Voyager crew. In the end the race gets "a newer model", and doesn't want the Doctor who returns to Voyager. It's not my favorite Doctor specific ep. It doesn't really grab me. Not exactly bad, just kind of "there".

My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
