We make it back to the Prime universe. But not before Lorca attempts a coup against the Emperor. Lots of the kind of scenes you'd expect with a coup. Yeoh gets to use her martial arts skills a bit.

Also the end of Gabriel Lorca who is killed. The way back has some typical Trek technobabble, but when we get back, we find out that Discovery has been gone for nine months and the Klingons have basically won the war. Coming along for the ride is Emperor Georgiou (something that puzzles me a bit).
