TNG Overall: Episode 62
Trek Overall: Story 162, Episode 164
Airdate: 12 Feb 1990
Written by Ed Zuckerman
Directed by Cliff Bole

Notes

  • The actress who plays Manua Apgar is Gina Hecht.  She’s been in a lot of things over the years, but one of her earliest roles is one that sticks in my mind for some reason.  She played “Jeanie DaVinci” on Mork & Mindy.
  • The model that was used for Dr. Apgar’s science station was the same one that was used in Wrath of Khan as “Regula I”.  That model was also used in the first Star Trek movie as well as several other times in Deep Space Nine.
  • This is the only time in the entire series Picard is shown painting.
