Aliens of London

This Story: Series 1, Story 4a. Production Code 1.2
Overall: Story 161a, Episode 706
Airdate: 16 Apr 2005
Written by Russell T Davies
Directed by Keith Boak

Notes

  • This is the first multi part/cliffhanger story in modern Who.  Given stories usually do not have “Part 1, etc” in their titles in this era, the story code is 161a vs just 161 and the next episode will be 161b.

The first cliffhanger in New Who. Deals w/something new - what happens to those left behind after a companion goes away. I loved that angle. Gets the Doctor slapped.🤣 9 having to pic.twitter.com/v50DYHwylX

watch news on TV was hilarious. This is the one mostly known for the "farting aliens". Conceptually the aliens wearing human skin suits works for me, but farting?🤷‍♂️ #MPFlydaleNorth pic.twitter.com/ooxsjXkmLV
