• Was timed to air originally right before Halloween – a rare instance of Star Trek theming its plot around real world holidays.
• The outfit worn by Korob in this episode was first worn by Bob Denver as Gilligan on the Gilligan’s Island episode “Lovey’s Secret Admirer” (on 23 Jan 1967), which predates this episode by nearly a year if you take production times into account.  A photo of that is shown below.
