  • The footage of the Klingon battle cruiser was reused from “Star Trek: The Motion Picture“.
  • This episode references a race called the Talarians, who would not be seen on screen until the Season 4 episode “Suddenly Human“.
  • This episode refers to the name of the Klingon home world as “Kling”, something which was ignored later on when it was renamed as “Qo’noS”.

Very enjoyable ep. The Klingons are back - we find some Klingons who were passengers on a ship that was attacked - but the story feels off, so we have a mystery of what the Klingons are really doing. We get pic.twitter.com/L5Z1THRXDJ

#StarTrekMarathon Star Trek TNG Ep 20 - Heart of Glory - 21 Mar 1988 2/2

a Worf heavy ep. These Klingons were trying to return to the old ways and rejected the peace, trying to convert Worf. We also get the first Klingon death scream & we get to see what Geordi's visor sees. pic.twitter.com/g4dhsGrlhB
