Another story I have zero memory of, almost a complete clean slate coming in this. Haven't seen it in a few decades. For a mid 70's BBC budget, the forest looks pretty decent here. pic.twitter.com/oo5bUlookT

Most of this ep is setup for some colonists disappearing, the Doctor & SJS responding to a distress call they received, as well as a rescue mission for the disappeared team. pic.twitter.com/neWKa4QbWd

An odd thing for me to fixate on, but I really liked the guns used in this story. They seemed to have a better design than most you saw in this era of Who. The Doctor & SJS spend pic.twitter.com/bYkz02HpxI

most of their time being blamed for things they didn't do. We find out that the guys are here to exploit the planet's energy supply, but it can lead to cataclysmic destruction. pic.twitter.com/KSQRqql9Jb

Cliffhanger from last ep was good. The Doctor in the void was well handled I thought - even liked the music. The main plot about not taking minerals off the planet, or the enemy pic.twitter.com/R3H8D8SNVM

that looks like a drawing will stop them from leaving the planet. The creature is a bad special effect, tho. Most of this is someone determined to blame the Doctor for everything. pic.twitter.com/IZVONboHLm

The power struggle between the two main crew boils over, and actually saves the Doctor & SJS from a pretty good cliffhanger. As much as I think this story is meh, it has some good pic.twitter.com/tOD3hsej0m

cliffhangers. There's more screaming from "Mr. Over Zealous Security Guy". The Doctor eventually saves everyone. I could never get past the bad SFX for the antimatter creatures. pic.twitter.com/pOceJKL9fq

This console room looks kind of boring. Makes me yearn for the Hartnell original, it had stuff going on.
Actor Louis Mahoney (R), who would turn up much later in Doctor Who in the David Tennant episode “Blink” (as old Billy Shipton)
