Notes

• This is the last aired story for Amy & Rory as companions.
• After this, there were no more episodes until the Christmas Special (about three months), as Series 7 was split in pieces – the second half aired in 2013.
• There was a single scene reshoot needed after production at the Box Cemetery. Nick Curran was unavailable, so they got Saul Metzstein to direct that.
• There is a real life book which serves as a prequel to this story – amusingly enough the Doctor was reading the same book inside the program’s canon as well. The book is called “The Angel’s Kiss: A Melody Malone Mystery“.  It can be purchased on Amazon.com as either a Kindle book or an audiobook read by Alex Kingston.
• There was a postscript scene written called “P.S.” where we found out what happened to the Ponds, and gave narrative closure to Brian Williams.  It exists in storyboard form with narration by Arthur Darvill, as Mark Williams was not available at the time to film it.
