DS9 Overall: Episode 67
Trek Overall: Story 329b, Episode 347

Notes
- This episode follows up events from the episode “Defiant“.
- The first episode where Ira Steven Behr is the overall executive producer of the show, having replaced Michael Pillar, who moved over to Voyager (more or less).
- The last episode where Sisko appears clean shaven (except for flashback footage).
- The first time Odo reveals that he wishes to return to his own people.
- Vulcan Plomeek soup is mentioned here – I believe at the time the first time we’d heard that since TOS’ “Amok Time“.

This is the moment where you know war is inevitable with the Founders. There's some amazing scenes here where Garak tortures Odo that are VERY well played by both

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 67 - The Die is Cast - 1 May 1995 2/2 Robinson & Auberjonois. At the time, the biggest space battle in the series. LOTS of shit happens here & as good as Part I of this was, this Part II is far better. Also sets up Eddington & Sisko's future conflict.
