Notes

  • The character of Ruk was played by Ted Cassidy, who is very famous for playing Lurch on The Addams Family TV series.
  • The character of Roger Corby reappeared in several episodes of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”.  He interacted with Christine Chapel several times – only that one was the real human being.

One I didn't care for when I was young, as I was all about the ship shows. This one focuses on the past of Nurse Chapel, and Roger Korby to whom she was engaged. There's a lot here with android duplicates, pic.twitter.com/mb3vcaU5Ek

and Korby's wanting to take over everything with them. Ruk (hello Lurch) serves him, but is the eventual key to Korby's defeat (he's an android too). Bill Theiss' great costume work is on display here. pic.twitter.com/RuFI0HXGNc
