Caller ID spoofing

It would seem to me that crap like this should be stopped before it can get started. I mean, why the smeg am I paying $7 a month to my phone company for Caller ID when people can do shit like this?

    A year later, but I’d like to ask why people pay for it anyway. It is pure profit for the phone companies *shrug*
    I don’t see cid spoofing as either good, or bad. Just like anything else, its how a person uses it that makes all the difference
