World War Three

This Story: Series 1, Story 4b. Production Code 1.3
Overall: Story 161b, Episode 707
Airdate: 23 Apr 2005
Written by Russell T Davies
Directed by Keith Boak

Notes

  • This is the first multi part/cliffhanger story in modern Who.  Given stories usually do not have “Part 1, etc” in their titles in this era, the story code is 161b vs just 161 and the last episode was 161a.

This ep was better than the first, I enjoyed the fun of the Slitheen running around & "Aliens in Downing Street". The Doctor ends up getting rid of them by launching a missile at pic.twitter.com/7z41PJKh9g

them, blowing up #10 Downing. That's never followed up on later, I believe. Laughed at Harriet Jones calling Rose "a very violent young woman". Loved the bit about "is Rose safe?" pic.twitter.com/TcFSWgZw0N
