Night and the Doctor

This Story: Series 6 DVD Bonus Shorts
Overall: Not a proper episode, so no episode count
Airdate: 22 Nov 2011 (Blu-Ray Release Date)
Written by Steven Moffat (shorts 1-4), Tom MacRae (short 5)
Directed by Richard Senior (shorts 1-4), Steve Hughes (short 5)

Notes

  • Night and the Doctor is the collective name for five shorts that appear on the Season 6 DVD/Blu-Ray sets.
  • The five shorts names are “Bad Night”, “Good Night”, “First Night”, “Last Night”, & “Up All Night”.
  • The first four involve some combination of the Doctor, Amy, & River Song, mostly all taking place inside the Tardis.
  • Up All Night is unconnected to the others, and is basically a prequel for “Closing Time“, or perhaps was a deleted scene.
  • Up All Night was erroneously credited to Steven Moffat, when it was really written by Tom MacRae.  There was a correction noted in the booklet that came with the box set for this series.
