• This is the first episode(s) of Red Dwarf since Series 9’s “Back to Earth” Episode 3, roughly 3.5 years after that episode, and the first time Red Dwarf was a proper “series” since the end of Series 8 some 13 years prior.
• The episode was dedicated to the memory of Jo Howard (Production Manager for Series VII; Line Producer for Series VIII; and Producer for Back to Earth)
• The episode titles are back to a large red font, something that hasn’t happened since Series IV.
• This episode was dedicated to Red Dwarf production member Jo Howard, who died the year before this series was made.
