TOS Overall: Story 60, Episode 61
Trek Overall: Story 60, Episode 61

Notes
- The second of two roles in original Star Trek by Diana Muldauhr. The earlier was “Return to Tomorrow” , and she would go on to play Dr Pulaski in Season 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
- The Vulcan concept of IDIC (or “Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations”) first appeared here, although at the time some of the crew derided it as an attempt by Gene Roddenberry to sell merchandise vs it being an actual plot point.
- The race of Medusans was revisited many decades later in the animated series “Star Trek: Prodigy”.

The Ent is transporting a Medusan ambassador, but the sight of them can drive one insane. They travel in a box, & can't be seen directly. This one has a bad rap, but I always liked it, because it pic.twitter.com/TKOgIrbdK6
